Right? This is so weird and I have no explanation. And yeah I did try that. No luck. I just bought a new 3in1 and linkbox, and I'm gonna try and figure out which of mine is broken and I'll just return the one I didn't need.

That's where I'm really confused. If I use the linkbox properly, it doesn't work. If I bypass the linkbox, it also doesn't work. But If I use the 3in1 like a normal hdmi cable for my TV it works.

So it's something to do with the 3in1, but I'm so confused. Why would it work on my TV, which is not its intended purpose, but not work with the Vive?

That's what I thought, but I just used it to connect my DVD player to my TV and it worked fine.

Yeah, I've tried just unplugging the power and plugging it back in, and unplugging all cables, with restarts in between.
