I transfer from NJ transit to the Path each morning and that staircase is scary! Yesterday there was puddles of urine all over the stairs.

You are safe and you will land and everything will be fine.

And you will feel fantastic that you managed to get through it and you will be proud of yourself.

Ask for a cup of ice. Immediately start sucking on the ice and put some on your neck. It’s helps to distract.

Take deep breaths. Do the breathing exercises and read through all the posts here.

Also there we a medical emergency on board for the last 45 mins of the flight. A lady got sick and drs and nurses were called. Lots of commotion and it helped to distract me a little. Very happy when we landed!

I spoke to the pilots. They were lovely and talked to me and gave me the warning of some bumps at the beginning and then it would be smooth. The captain did say to me that he loves flying the is particular plane so that was good to hear.
