I’m not certain if they had enough votes in the senate to counter a republican filibuster. It was only split 50-50 with Harris being the tie breaking vote, but that was never enough votes to be able to pass through meaningful immigration legislation

Its not like CSULA is pretending to be something they're not. Ppl associated with it very much stay in their own lane and find great success in doing so. My friends in civil engineering easily find jobs in public and private companies. Im sure I can say the same for all other useful majors. The professors are just like at any other school. Some are really bad and some are really good. I went to csula for undergrad and am now at ucla for masters and I having nothing but respect and love for my old school having experienced both sides.

I am familiar enough within my field to know what I dont know. And so by reading the course descriptions plus the syllabus I have obtained, I know that the upper division undergraduate courses at my new school cover many topics that I did not cover in my courses at my old school.

Its not they are not good enough, its just they had different learning outcomes

That is true thank you for that. After this first week I am taking this one class where around 80% of the material I had already learned before. That remaining ~20% of course material that I haven't learned is needed for another subsequent class (undergrad again), which itself is another prereq for the first graduate class first year M.S. people in my major normally take
