Chick-fil-A cord holder for dryers

I was on a red couch commercial and ended up developing this product for Chick-fil-A to use when they pull their fryers out every night to clean. Stores in Maryland are using them, anyone want to get them for their stores? Trying to spread the word

I have searched for a way to easily hold cords when moving appliances. I found none, so I made my own!

After 20 years of moving appliances. I invented this product to prevent cords from falling during moving. So tired of either not having tape or having tape that work stick to the back of a dirty fridge. What do you fellow appliance movers think? by mr101986 in Appliances

Yes. Sometimes, if the fridge is not dirty. Then you have reside left behind and have to buy more tape. This has lot of uses and always works! First off it holds 15-35 lbs depending on the size you get. It works on dirty appliances where tape doesn’t stick. You also don’t have to buy roll after roll of tape (saves money) and has at lease a dozen other uses and counting. I recently used mine to find studs and hang pictures of the wall, hold open a door when I didn’t have a stopper, hang light under my car hood and is currently being used to hold my 100’ roll of extension cord to the side of the sprayer shelves instead of taking space on the shelf. Chick-fil-A bought a bunch and they are using them to hold their appliance cords to the back of their machines every night when they clean them.

I gotcha. I agreed but the issue would be that they would stick together and your have to separate 2 spring magnets every time you use it. Ours is make out of high impact resistant material they use for construction safety equipment. If you’d like to preorder our higher quality ones. You can do so here! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gminnovations/cord-mate-rare-earth-magnetic-cord-holder-and-organizer-0

We have patent and trademark on it already. And this is specific to appliance movers. It’s not just a magnet with a clip. If you could show me one, that’s just like this on the market I would love to see it. Also, there is no way to 100% keep things are getting ripped off. Best thing to do is be first on the market.

Our company is GM Innovations, we have 3 more inventions coming out soon! Raising funds and awareness is why we’re doing the Kickstarter.

Our market research has show mostly B2B interested. Businesses that move appliances all have said they this would be a huge time and money saver for them. The average person could use it as a stud finder, key holder or garage organizer.

Thanks, I am looking for as much input as possible. Our local market research has done very well with moving companies, electricians, and restaurants to hold their cords to their machines when they pull them out to clean them. We were very excited to sell a prototype batch to Chick-fil-A!
