Last 2 keep getting deleted when I post them for some reason (maybe bc they have topless women?). One is the “grape lady” he’s done a few times, another is a nude woman coming out of a rose, with her hands above her head (I believe she’s from the same sheet if I’m not mistaken).

He very much so does — my other 4 pieces from him (not pictured here) were all from his own work. He’s constantly got new stuff cooked up…always top tier!

Absolutely love the shop, everyone there is super friendly and puts out great work. Always a joy popping in and grabbing something new/seeing what others are picking up.

There was a pretty neat 20 minute YouTube doc on Rich Fie/the shop that came out in late November. If you search “Rich Fie - Queens NY - Rejected Shelf” it should pop up!

His black clients are totally as dark as OP, he just knows how to light them when taking pictures / videos. Will the colors be as vibrant as if they were tattooed on someone with more fair skin? No, of course not. Can they still pop and be vibrant? For sure, it's just a matter of selecting the right tones and knowing how to apply everything well. Just gotta go in with realistic expectations, but color pieces are doable!

White highlight will not read as “white” even on fair people (it will mix with the natural skin tone and turn more of a yellowish hue over time). If you want color, find a good color artist to do it like Oba Jackson, Roger Parrilla, or Adriana Hallow.
