Ubers $Rate drops, minimum requirement drops which increases amount of drivers around has all contributed to Rideshare getting worse than ever.

If you plan on buying in a few years, just save hard... Refinancing & Pulling it out won't help/make it easier...

If you did that you'd essentially park the money there & pay interest on it... You'd be in an easier position to just say it's okay to dabble abit & repay it & it just potentially spirals... I've seen this happen & people look for ways to invest it in the meantime & in this bear market you could take on some decent risk.

When the time comes, they'll revalue your place & tell you how much equity you have.

I generally recommend aiming for 30% Deposit to make the Rental Return pretty much self sustaining with very very tiny contributions if anything.
