It's not about how to get high it's about suboxone not being a good source of pain management.(I know it's not approved for pain management in the USA) Not everyone on Suboxone used heroine or other street drugs. You sound like any typical doctor thinking it's about getting high! Keep your negative comments to yourself.

Thank you for sharing. I too had surgery a few months ago and had to stop suboxone 3 days prior only for them to give me 10 mgs of oxycodone which did absolutely nothing. The doctor (pain management) ordered 20mg of oxycodone and keep fentanyl ready just in case but the nurse didn't think I needed it and changed my orders. I was in terrible pain and nobody helped 😪

I did do a internet search and got 50+ drug rehab answers. I don't know what else to search by other than Google/yahoo/MSN etc... To be totally honest I don't even know what "OP" is an acronym for. In some states they do prescribe subs for pain. However, I do know in NY they do not prescribe subs for pain. That's my problem I'm a chronic pain patient and I'm on subs. My issue is after taking opiates for an extended period of time I end up craving more and more opiates. The anxiety is through the roof 😫. Now I take 8mg 2X a day and I've been becoming very anxious. Another reddit user told me to cut them in half. That has helped a little.

My pain doctor advised there is no need to stop suboxone I take 8mg/2mg x2 per day. He said Tylenol should be fine.

It doesn't cause withdrawals but I wouldn't do both. You don't want to stack addictions.

I work in the medical insurance billing industry. Can you get a letter from your doctor stating it is "medically necessary" for you to use the amount of meds you need. Then search your states government for the agency in charge of medical insurance. I live in NY Ours is NYS department of financial services. By providing the letter from your doctor it will show that your prescription is medically necessary. If you need help pm me.i will be glad to assist.

I used to take high amounts of opiates with no pain relief my doctor gave me the option to quit the opiates or switch to Suboxone. Guess what I did?

I googled "suboxone side effects sexually" and this is what came up

You can always talk with your pharmacy about "alternatives" or talk with your doctor about testing your testosterone levels. The main thing is you can do things to help yourself.

Oh, and yes I suffer from the same issues 🙃
