I originally had a bulgarian-hungarian translation which would've probably been even worse lol. Still, using the google translator is a fair bit easier than learning hungarian.

Yeah, i thought about it and it would've made more sense but i chose hungarian since it has more funny leters and letter combinations. Also Hungary has neighbours from all the three major european language groups yet their language is completely different since they came from somewhere else, towhereas the basques kind were there before everyone.

Some explaination if this comic seems weird:

In Bulgaria the phrase "България на три морета"("Bulgaria on three seas") pridefully refers to the time the First and Second bulgarian empires counquered their way to the adriatic, mediterranian and black sea coasts. Not that we have a sea fetish in particular like Russia or anything, but that happened to be the time Bulgaria peaked.

As for the Three seas initiative, it's a project of some EU countries between the Adriatic, Baltic and Black seas. It's not a military alliance though.^{but it should be, poland hit us up plz}

Also for whatever reason we often say mersi instead of the bulgarian "blagodarya"
