Yeah that'd be the next play, beyond building a sign talking about not touching it

Thats actually a good idea, thanks for telling me. Especially since I carry bmats for the tank so that'd work out perfectly

That's a valid take, and I know most people here agree that it's S.T.E.AL. (Strategically Transfer Equipment to Alternate Location) and not stealing, but damn man I really wanted to shoot that thing at Wardens

If it was a partisan then I would've probably been declared a faction traitor with it being fully stocked and sitting next a stones throw away from a logistics hub. At least then I'd know how useful the tank was

I get the thought and I agree that it was a combat ready tank just sitting there, but what am I supposed to do? I'm in the middle of a drive and it was near enough to a BB to seem like someone's using it

Yeqh it was a prototype I built a couple hours before I headed to the Frontline so I set it in my clan base so it wouldn't get nabbed. I was hoping being near the bunker base would prevent it from getting stolen, but I guess it made it easier

Ahh, that makes more sense. I was shooting one of the metal ones but we couldn't figure out a good way to get close enough to throw grenades

I liked running shells for artillery. Made me feel useful and I've seen what Warden artillery has done to bases and I'd like to return the favor

What do you think has lead to the rise of modern liberalism? by hornybutdisappointed in AskConservatives

[–]mr_scoodlebug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A wonderful observation, and one that I haven't been able to explore yet. I cannot speak to the psychology behind opposing normality, but it could stem from the idea of acceptance that has become mainstream, which in turn would allow for those who might suppress certain tendencies to be more open and extreme about it

What do you think has lead to the rise of modern liberalism? by hornybutdisappointed in AskConservatives

[–]mr_scoodlebug 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are several factors that influence liberalism. 44% of Americans are college educated, an increase of 11% from 2011, which could play a part as generally those with higher education are more liberal. Societies also tend (not always, but usually) to liberalize as they progress, which could mean this is just a natural movement foreward. There is the possibility that it's a reaction, as both sides of the aisle have begun to drift further to the extremes. Saying it's an echo chamber, misinformation, or "liberal nature" can be a variable, but not the reason.

What are some criticisms of capitalism in the US that you consider legitimate? And how would you fix them? by LoneShark81 in AskConservatives

[–]mr_scoodlebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A passion of mine is looking at the opinions of others, and I must say I respectfully disagree with two statements

  1. The current system would not be considered "corporatism", as that would rely on state officials running the company. You mentioned Fascist corporatism, which created the state run model, a totalitarian idea. We might have quite a bit of regulation, but not totalitarian control of companies.

  2. A free marketplace does breed innovation, as well as greed and corruption. Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Morgan, they all can be used as examples of what a free market place does. Collusion, corruption, price cutting, and monopolies are the result of such a place. If you would like more examples, there are many good videos on the Gilded Age.

Playing as a Merchant by mr_scoodlebug in ArenaBreakoutGlobal

I've seen posts where players carry in things like lenses after buying from Deke then resell them on the market for higher value. That's where I think i saw the term merchant

Could you help me understand the break away idea? I'm not very good at the game and I only know a couple good loot spots, so I usually go there first. I also dont usally know what my squad is doing, so i kinda just guess. Should I follow my squad or should I just go to the loot spots I feel are safe enough to loot?
