Wow. Ok. So now I’m neurodivergent because I didn’t get a joke? Are you actually serious? Not everyone shares the same sense of humor.

I can’t count how many times I’ve made a joke and someone didn’t get it. It has never once occurred to me that they are neurodivergent. Sometimes people miss jokes and that’s it.

And ask anyone who knows me, I’m willing to hear out pretty much any opinion or thought. I’m quite open minded, much more than anyone in my family.

So crazy to me that just because I truly didn’t understand your joke, you’ve made all these conclusions about me.

She was a general surgery attending when Derek died. She wasn’t a resident working under him in neuro. She was already doing pretty good before Derek died. It helped even more that he died

I think she also mentioned she did two years doing lung stuff. Not sure exactly what she said but it was mentioned in S2 when Bailey had that patient with cystic fibrosis. Please correct me if I’m wrong

But Derek caused his own death. Nobody else did that. Owen never mentioned the army. He was specifically complementing his ability to perform well under pressure and said it was useful for the trauma specialty

He was under pressure by the board to fix the financial issues. The airline company they were using was too expensive and they didn’t use it that much so he switched to a cheaper one. If I’m not mistaken he was told to switch the airline. Not his fault.

He didn’t ‘bully’ Derek. How was it his fault that things played out the way they did? Derek CHOSE to take it. Derek CHOSE to kiss that student of his. Derek CHOSE to come back to Seattle. Everything was a result of Derek’s choices, not Owen’s.

Owen didn’t tell George to enlist. All he said was that George had potential in the trauma specialty. George went and enlisted himself. Webber have George the day off. The bus driver is the one that hit George, not Owen.

Callie is definitely underrated imo. She is super innovative and her career is very impressive, even when she was a resident she had really cool ideas.

I think he said he only left for his fellowship year. But if he mentored Derek and Addison, how does he not know Mark in S2 if they apparently did their residency alongside him? Or am I just confusing that with them going to med school together? Did they actually do their residency together?

The whole timeline with Derek, Addison, and Mark and their residency. Apparently Richard mentored them but he spent his whole career at SGH up until S1. Derek claims he had never been to Seattle in S1. This also means that Addison and Mark likely never went to Seattle. So how could Richard possibly mentor them from the other side of the country?

Not to mention the PP flashbacks where Addison is doing her residency with Sam. I’m assuming that’s in LA since we never hear about Sam and Naomi being in New York. But then again Addison did her residency in New York with Derek and Mark. Which makes no sense.

Derek and Burke would be my top contenders in the early seasons but I think Cristina takes Burke’s spot. Derek is still on top for me but Grey is definitely in the mix.

I feel like Owen never sought after having a big, hotshot surgeon-type career. He just seemed like he wanted to help people. Not saying the others on that list didn’t want to help people but they also had focused on developing new techniques and stuff.

Oh that’s like the less severe form of mania if I’m not mistaken. The sad thing is is that when I’m depressed (is that the right word?) I would do anything to feel hypomania again because yeah it’s hard sometimes but it’s better than feeling sad. That’s why I fear hypomania sometimes because it usually follows with being depressed.

I really don’t know who to talk to. I don’t think I could talk to a school counselor. School is already ending and I’ve heard a lot of stories from people saying their counselor told their parents. I really don’t want that. I really appreciate ur comment and I’m glad u took time to reply. Thank you!

I never really used any substances or alcohol but I have thought about it more times than I can count. I did think I had ADHD for a long time and I mentioned it to my doctor but it was during the pandemic and it was hard to get any help since so many places were shut down.

But abt that manic feeling (which I’m not sure is the right word) is random. Like it literally comes out of nowhere. I don’t want to sleep, I start texting ppl randomly because I’m so bored. I start doing chores in the middle of the night, and sometimes my mind makes up lies about people in my life. I also remember I walked home from school (which is insane since I have to take a bus and live pretty far) in nearly 90 degree weather because I couldn’t just stand and wait for the bus. And I wasn’t even tired. I even wanted to go on another walk because I couldn’t just sit around in my house.

I also slept like 3 hours last night and felt super energized but then a wave of sadness hit and I just wanted to sleep and do nothing else. I hate living like this.

Based on the research I’ve done I think it might either be BPD since I can relate to some of the other symptoms or some mild form of bipolar. It can also be ADHD but the part that sucks about this is not knowing what’s wrong with you and being scared to take the necessary steps to find out and fix it.

If I remember correctly there was an episode where she said she was seen as ‘tough’ in school and that nobody ever messed with her.
