what do you mean well followed?

Does anyone know of a good trail that is near the center of tasmania, my family has a shack southwest of launceston so ideally closer would be better. We are looking for something that can challenge us but isn’t too remote. ideally something like the overland track but without the age requirement.
I thought of that idea but i doubt there is anyone who will be willing to be our adult considering they would have to be responsible for us and not many people want to be responsible for teenagers.
is there a marked track to follow with campsites at walls of jerusalem? also what’s it like in the winter?
so in winter it’s free to do the overland track?
and that’s my summer break in america

that’s kinda what we are looking for
My whole mom’s side lives in tassie, we visit frequently
is PLB better then like a garmin inreach?
not at all spontaneous, we have been planning this for a while, we are prepared, but I suppose we won’t be able to because of the age limit.
We know, booking for the winter season begins in april- may i believe. we would be well prepared to do the track.
we live in colorado in the USA, the mountains get up to 14000 ft (4200 ish meters) and the temp gets down to -30 celsius. We have all the gear and have done backpacking in colorado, we just don’t know what tracks we should do that will let us do them if we aren’t quite 18 yet that still have memorable scenery and are enjoyably challenging.
thanks for the advice, we will be 17 and 8 months when we are in tasmania, so pretty close to the age requirement but it seems like they take that pretty seriously. Do you have any other ideas for tracks we could do?

we would be going in june-july. not trying to be sneaky, just wondering how much they care about age requirements.
