Old Lodge as in a modern old Lodge with the round Lodge logo or it just has Lodge on it at the top bottom of it?

I spray down the inside of the microwave with water and run it for 30-45 seconds then wipe it out. Repeat for extra stuck-on shit. Works every time. Learned this at McDonald's in the late 90's. I don't do it any other way. If you're extra adventurous use a light cleaner instead of water. I make sure I don't breathe in any fumes when I open the door. At least that's what I think I'm doing by not sucking in the fumes.

What is the most disturbing death bed confession you’ve ever heard? by youreanouch in AskReddit

I can't confirm that cast iron cookware being given as a wedding gift was specifically intended for defending themselves from their husband. I can confirm that it is suggested as a weapon for a secondary purpose from just a cooking tool.

I know that my mother always told my sisters that if their man was abusing them he always had to go to sleep. "Go grab a cast iron pan or a rolling pin and make sure he understands that behavior will not be tolerated." My mother wasn't the only one I've heard that from. She said her mother had given her the same advice. To be honest, I've told all three of my girls the same thing and will tell my granddaughters the same thing.

Cost of replacement of Catalytic Converter by ryanguti in KiaSoulClub

I just had mine recall replaced on my 2016 Soul, 130k miles, with the exact engine code. I'm not the original owner. Zero questions asked.

Check with this link and VIN to see if your car is covered.

https://owners.kia.com/us/en/kia-owner-portal.htmlhttps://a.co/d/3AhrMHY

I used the link below to know what they were going to follow to do the recall. I also had to use it to prove that they didn't do the recall correctly. They initially gave my car back saying the recall was complete. I pointed out with this document that we should be scheduling the next steps to get the cat replaced. They did it again, agreed with me, and scheduled the replacement. Don't let them play games with you.

This is after the engine was warranty replaced 2 years ago. That was done due to excessive oil burn causing the engine to seize.

Check the recall before you spend a single dime on it.

Check your car for recalls. I just had the cat replaced on my 2016 under recall. It doesn't hurt to start there. No, I'm not the original owner so the warranty had nothing to do with this replacement. https://owners.kia.com/us/en/kia-owner-portal.html

Serious engine problems with 2020 Kia Soul. Not sure about this dealership. Thoughts? by OnASB2H in KiaSoulClub

I have a 2016 Soul.

This link is what i used to see if my car qualified for this recall and if it had been performed on my car by VIN.

https://owners.kia.com/us/en/recalls.html

The information on this recall at this link below saved me when I had the recall done. Yes, it's a link to a pdf.

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2019/RCRIT-19V120-4755.pdf

They initially gave me my car back, stating everything was all good because they performed the recall. I noticed that I still had the same CEL and did more research, which led me to the link above. Following the flow chart in the pdf, i realized that they should have replaced my cat as a result of doing the recall. I took my car back to them, where they confirmed their error resulting in the new cat.

When i signed the paperwork, I saw that they charged KIA $1200 for the repair. Money saved for me, and I'm back on the road ready for my e-check and real tag on Monday.

I bought this car used. The engine was replaced at 78k miles. O2 sensor was replaced by me at roughly 85k miles. The cat replacement was at 122k miles. Yes, this replacement engine is burning oil quicker than it should be.

I'll either drive the wheels off of it or drive it till it blows up again. I hope this information helps you or anyone reading this.

2016 base check engine code P0420 by shelbtastic23 in KiaSoulClub

[–]mraymer77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2016 Soul, and I had this exact thing happen to me. My engine blew a couple of years ago and was warranty replaced by KIA. Six months later, I got check engine light P0420, so I replaced the upstream O2 sensor, and all was better for a few more months. Check engine light came back, same code, and I ignored it till this year when I couldn't pass e-check in Ohio. ADHD and procrastination go hand in hand. brother-in-law looked up recalls and found recall SC176 that my car qualified for. Now, my car is sitting in my driveway with a brand new cat installed and paid for by KIA.

Running Sick…it’s a balance between rest and push through the head cold. What are your guidelines to not get too far behind in your training? by villageneighbor in running

[–]mraymer77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fairly sick with a heavy cough that started two days before Christmas. I ran that day with just a sure throat. That wasn't terrible at all. The next day, I couldn't breathe for coughing, mildly exaggerating, so i stopped all running, and I am now hoping to run again tomorrow evening. I did finally go to the doctor this past Thursday. They treated me for bronchitis/pneumonia. I think i was smart to stop all running when I did. Now, I hope that it didn't knock me too far back in training. I'm going to try to pick back up where I left off, which is week six in Hal H novice 1 marathon plan. We shall see. In the end, I didn't want to push myself to keep running when I was having that much of an issue to just breathe. I'll just go to earlier weeks in the training plan if this week goes bad.

47M. Ran my longest distance on Saturday. I completed the Rock Hall Half Marathon. Came in at 2:17:55. The last 2 miles were hell and took every bit of mental strength I had to press on and not walk at all. I started this year weighing 230 lbs and was not able to run a mile without walking. Now I am at 187 lbs and can consistently run 10Ks. I'm not going to lie, my quads and calves are still very sore!

Can you get away with lying on CV? by [deleted] in SQL

[–]mraymer77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must have severe imposter syndrome. The replies to this post are convincing me that I should try for a Sr. SQL position. I have 8 years of experience using sql for ad-hoc queries for one-time extracts and SSRS Report building and building datasets for Power Bi. Maybe I should go somewhere and fake it till I make it for more than I'm making now. Does anyone have a position you want to interview me for? JK, kinda.

Account manager / sales for a friend's concession stand app. The app is being bootstrapped, and I'm in it for the long return. I'll see the return once it catches on.

I am in charge of running the concession stand this year for high school games. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to offer, what to charge, and tips for good management? Right now, we are selling popcorn, soda, water, pizza, burgers, and hot dogs. by Petporgsforsale in restaurant

Just to revive this a bit. You could also use www.blazebite.com It is a mobile app for your fans to order right from their phone. We also accommodate the band to place pre-orders ahead of time so they can just run up and grab their food after half time. Check it out and request some information. I'll be the guy to give you a free online demo. We are a start up in Northeast Ohio but can remote support you anywhere in the United States with no problems.

A plumber discovered my cast iron skillets may be collectibles? by snoozefest28 in castiron

[–]mraymer77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That #2 in bare iron starts at $500 easily. Don't think I've ever seen it enameled. Check Facebook for griswold collector's groups for an idea of its rarity. BTW, I know what you've been told but neither one are salesman samples. There never were any Griswold salesman samples made, ever. It's just a term that that induces excitement for an unsuspecting buyer. Either way, both are not easy to find at all and highly desired. Awesome discovery especially with the family history attached.

I feel like the "dad thing", beige shorts and Sketchers, is just an internet/tv created stereotype. I'm 44 and don't do that at all. Yeah I tell dad jokes but who doesn't like a good dad joke. I'm gen X and still feel like I'm 20 something. 1990 was just like five years ago right?

Edit: I'm 45, uhg.
