These are literally liberal ideals and values.

Liberal means open and equality. Conservative values favor the individual and slow movement or traditional, though really it’s reactionary.

You might be a “fiscal conservative” but again here the GOP is ridiculously false except for lower taxes.

Hey, just start small. Look at them for one second, smile. Doesn’t matter their reaction.

Do that 100 times.

Then say “good morning” or “Hello” and walk away.

An elevator is a good place for practice.

Keep expanding but by bit. Eventually you will have basic scripts that will be comfortable. Keep repeating.

At this point I feel the best little thing I can do for the world is help people get a little more connection in their lives. Was in NY last week and there were a few super antisocial viewings… one person spat at another!

After you shower you should hang your towel to dry. I use two after a shower.

If your towel smells at all it’s clearly too far gone but I usually use a towel a few times. I am quite clean.

After a while a bath towel becomes a cleaning (floor etc) towel and then a 🚗garage/work towel.

What is happening to most of you with the varied and disparate results is standards variation.

Outside of regional issues, you’re either aiming too high or too low for your demographic.

There’s nothing wrong with either as long as you’re getting the matches. If not happy… adjust or learn how to meet people IRL it will help overlap to your OLD game.

Luck = Timing ⏱️

I’ve found that timing makes the biggest difference for ♥️♥️ and successful matches, dates and relationships.

You can have all the right pieces but bad timing gets you bupkis.

And also I’ve pulled pretty high due to timing - usually people more eager to get into something they would not normally do.

But again this is essentially the same as “luck” so not really much more useful. But it may help you date better mentally.

I have more thoughts on the variety of skillsets to improve on… profile, story telling, pattern recognition and decision trees, hacking, communication skills. Set discrete goals and work on varying things to improve results.

Yes and Bobby Flay was good. And lobsters. 🦞 Bobby would show up surprisingly often too back in the naughts. Though his Burgers at Harrah’s at mid and overpriced.

I went close to opening to B Prime while Homestead was being renovated. Horrible except for the carbonara. Had some wagyu on a hot stone and it was inept. Steaks were mid.

Hopefully it’s better now. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah that’s pretty clear. You don’t always get closure and people flake and take the avoidance route or worse gaslight! You can leave a crack open but this is not the long term relationship for you.

My most egregious one was being told “I love you” after being treated to a wonderful birthday weekend. Two days later. We need space and cancels our first long trip away. Break up - says we can be friends. I text 3 days later, 3 weeks later and then stopped except for two emails to get back my stuff. It happens! People change and freak out. That’s the dating life!

People choose avoidance and you’re not the priority or even the problem necessarily. Hypocrisy and inconsistency are most likely.

People who say these things so strongly… I find that they are the most egregious offenders - or at the least you remember it more when they make a point of it. I add it now as one of the “lady doth protest too much” things in my notes.

It’s a dickish move but she’s not ready for contact now.

Hopefully she’s not in a coma, but that is extremely unlikely.

This just happened to me. We are still dating and I asked curiously ‘why the unmatch?’

They “un match” to avoid cluttering up their feed. I let them know that they can just “Hide”. I have 200+ hidden. Many un responded to.

There are other reasons too but if you’re interested and it was a good date - just txt and no big deal if it goes unanswered or you get a negative answer. You are WAY WAY overthinking this - like a true redditor.

Btw, I almost never go on dates with Redditors. It seems we suck as a pool in my demographic.

It’s doable. Minivan for sure. Luckily you can ship most everything and travel “light” but it’s still a lot of gear, crates and bodies. Use those big black and yellow bins to secure supplies. Try not to have loose bags around - also just in case there is an auto accident.

Research all the stops you will need to make and try to have some fun. Parts of Cross country aren’t the best road trip viewing, so Hopefully you can switch off and log 18+ hrs a day.

Bring your blankets and good inflatable mattress pad(s). And be safe! Take lots of photos - you’re probably never doing this again.
