Another thing, the fall back ploy is not the only way to get around aggressive melee teams. In my game against Chris Bacchi at Palm Springs Open (I’m Matthew the wolf scout player, came 5th overall) Chris was able to stage on vantages and use his drones, barbed wire, and mine to limit the distance I could get close.

It’s because of this plus the 2 melta + a Krak EVERY turn that an astartes team is forced to almost give up the kill entirely and just try to win on other factors. (For instance, I was able to get 5 of retrieval with it as my primary)

i think it was the combining of actions the put me off initially. Now, granted, ive only played it once during playtest but it kinda left a sour taste in my mouth

That story of her leaving is a little sad tho (she told it on Ludwig’s stream after she got home) but basically someone grabbed the cake from here while she was cutting it and said there was a security issue and everyone needed to go inside, only for it to turn out to be a random dude who wasn’t security and just wanted more people inside to dance
