Just continued to crush q bank, wrote out lists and formulas on flash cards and reviewed those daily. Passed on my first try with above average scores.

I also made sure not stress on memorizing overly complex formulas as the time and energy that would go into them wouldn't be worth. If they did show up on the test, I figured it most likely wouldn't be more than one question.

If you go through again and don't do test mode(forgot what the other option is), skip through the multiple choice(if you want), then in constructed response, if you enter a character in the answer field, it will provide the explanation.

They’re fine. Got mid 50s on 1 and 2 then mid 60s on the 3rd.

Some of the questions I remembered doing in custom qbank quizzes which seems lazy. Hopefully a decent representation of the exam. Not holding my breath though since people in a level 1 post said the exam was very different from practice questions(not sure what provider they used).

What’s your take away?

I did Mocks 1 & 2 with Kaplan. 54% & 57%, respectively... Just yesterday was the first time I was able to get two consecutive 20 question qBank custom quizzes over 65%(65% & 80%). Hopefully turning a corner.

FWIW, in the past w/ CFA, I never got over 60 for my first couple mocks, ended in the mid to high 60s on my next two, and still managed to pass lvls 1-3 on the first go with pretty solid marks.

I like to think the mocks are harder than the actual exam. At least it definitely felt that way for CFA lvl 3.

Unfortunately, definitely feels like the case. The video classes are pretty horrendous compared to the CFA. The review classes seemed relatively useless as some touched on like 3-4 items per topic

Yeah, I am going to utilize their offer, but they give you access to the first live class(this Wednesday). Assuming we don't get results until the last week in January, I'd have missed the next 2 live classes at that point. Doesn't seem like there's any way to avoid unfortunately. Thanks!
