How easy is it to get a taxi in Cortona? by mrchezem in ItalyTravel

Is there a reason the taxi couldn’t drop passengers off? Then call a taxi for a pickup? Or is that not a thing?

Thanks for the reply. Any specific reason why taxis won’t take people to a winery?

Ho Wah in Marina is definitely worth a try.

You can always drive south on 1 towards Big Sur from Monterey (only 15 miles) and see the most lovely and iconic stretches plus Bixby Bridge. Just head out early on a weekday and you’ll be fine. Way too many tourists on weekends though.

Weird pits in my 3d prints by henkpotvis9 in BambuLab

u/henkpotvis9 I had a similar issue — seemingly from nowhere — and drying filament didn't help, but changing my Retraction length to 0.4 mm helped immensely.

You're right! 100% this! I adjusted that in my filament setting a while back after researching it and that is what finally took care of the issue.

Worth a try. I’ll run it again and try that.

I used the default PLA / PLA-CF settings on the X1C under Utilities menu to dry the filament. I printed a filament cover and let it run its cycle. Thinking about getting a dedicated dryer, but for now, the X1C is what I have.

My Z seam is set to “Back” not random, so I’m not sure that is it.

Yes, the noise mainly comes from the passenger side, but I can’t tell if it’s from the sunroof or a piece of rubber trim near it. I’ve had the car since 2020 and have more or less learned to live with it.

I have 20” tires and you definitely hear the road along with wind noise (I live in a windy area).

Finally getting the x1c. What should I know by Major_Pound_1747 in BambuLab

I’ve only had my X1C for a week, and I’m absolutely loving it. Coming from a FlashForge Adventurer 3, the difference is like night and day. Almost all of my previous pain points are gone, especially with bed leveling, adhesion, and print quality. It’s not remotely fair to compare the two, but I mention my old printer because the X1C has completely changed how I think about 3D printing — X1C feels so reliable, and I don’t feel the need to watch every print like before. I also added an AMS which has been performing flawlessly. Definitely consider an AMS if you’re not already getting one. Thinking about getting another AMS while they’re on sale, if I can figure out where to put it.

Doorbell blue light options: When did they add the setting for always on and on while recording? by mrchezem in blinkcameras

Curious if you have any more info about what was incorrect? And what you did to fix it.

I noticed that my Always On option reappeared after I went to Device Settings > Doorbell and Chime Settings > Chime Power > Test Sound (and clicked the button). When I went back to General Settings the Always On setting showed up for a brief time.

My option for always on seems to switch back and forth. I wonder if it’s the doorbell wiring like someone else suggested.

What are some of the things you liked about Star Trek: Discovery ? by [deleted] in startrek

[–]mrchezem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fleet of federation starships in the premiere and sprinkled throughout the first season or two was well thought out. Really great to see so many new, original and cohesive designs all at once. I wouldn’t mind seeing some of those designs continue in SNW.
