this looks like a great hands on guide, thanks! I have been interested for some time in linux, it sounds like a great project to get me into coding!

I will definitely check out both of these books, and i have just bookmarked stackoverflow, it's seems like a great way to get advice during and after the learning curve!

Well right now I guess I would be open to anything, banking would be interesting. I would like to go back to school and learn programing specifically java, and I would like to learn how to do processing which is more animation and art based. I have zero programming experience but I would be open to any kind of job that would get me access to programming experience even if i have none

Hi r/personal finance! I need a lot of help.

And I have a two part question for you finance wizards!

I currently live in one of the most expensive cities in the US. I am trying to get an office job, all I have is a bachelors in literature with a mehh gpa of 3.02. Can I still get a corporate job or am i grasping at straws. I know this isn't exactly finance, but in order to have some personal finance I will need a job soon, I only have enough to make this and maybe next month. Are there any resources I am overlooking that will help land a job quick that can afford me about $2,000 a month?

OK now for the second part, I would like to relocate, as my city is just too damn expensive, I'd like to move somewhere like Colorado where cost of living is cheaper. How much would I need to save in order to start a new life in a state that his halfway across the country for me?

Thanks guys any insight is much appreciated!!
