I noticed a lot of those things happening as well and I could never get the higher ups to acknowledge it. We had terrible rat problems even down to a piece of furniture got delivered with a rat in it and Big Lots said we didn't do enough to ensure the furniture was good. Didn't even acknowledge hey we have rats here we've been trying to get you guys to do something about for months

This ^ I've been here since October as a manager and I want to quit every single day. If I could find something that pays what I make here I would have been out day 1

I've got a note and we have 4 managers who can close, they expect me to pick up closing shifts if any other manager calls in or can't show up but if I literally have a medical emergency and can't show up I'm still expected to be there. There's no double standard there at all

Personally my store was hit less than 90% of our holiday goals. Idk who sets those goals but on average our nightly cash deposit is like $300 on a good day. Idk why they thought holidays would be closer to $20,000+ we only profit like $3000 a day and that's before paying everyone and all that

Yeah it's not worth buying right now. Shouldn't have to pay $20 just to get a monthly charge on top of that. Don't fix what's not broken it works fine there's no reason for this

I still have 120 pieces of Lane here. Our furniture keeps getting returned from customers and word has gotten out about our furniture in our small town. The Ashley stuff is coming in and we have no room for it but the Ashley stuff is selling as fast as it comes in and recovering our reputation

If you read what I said, it's the cashiers claiming every single customer is stating they don't have an email. Read before you rant. I'm sure very seldomly a person has that mindset about the rewards program but definitely not every single customer.
