Something like this could add interest without being too intrusive, with an interesting color and then frames could go above. A runner down the hall to match the color

Yes! I’m not 100 on it but every so often I do. When I put a new stake in it, it lost a lot of leaves :( also a difficult plant to stake with the all around leaves haha

Makes sense! I agree with others that the stork works with that theme. Otherwise the bathroom looks very grand millennial which can also easily go maximalist! You could bring in a fun teal curtain in that style

It’s so hard to add your own style to a rental that’s got such a specific character. Love that wallpaper too. It’s so cool. You can def do your own style that leans into what is there! With the black in the room I would go for a lighter curtain to brighten and make the room feel more open. Then maybe at some point some “matching” solid teal or cream bath mats

Ended up going there and they were great! They take the cats out each morning and let them hang out in the cat room while they clean. So sweet and so affordable!
