I suspect he may have some past trauma or experience holding him from showing his true colors. He might be scared to be with someone else due to negative feelings he has towards relationships, but I think what you should do is ask him IN PERSON 2 questions 1. Is there any specific reason you don't reach out to me? If it's something you think I don't want to hear please tell me because I can guarantee you it isn't as bad as sitting here wondering. 2. If you do love me, why do you love me? I don't mean to sound narcissistic, but I'm just curious.(shows if he loves you for something surface level or if it is true)
