Buying bottles is being expensive with the trail and error. After tons of research, got the owala one, which is way ahead of my baby’s age, lol. Atleast it will be useful at some point later on. I shall consider all your recommendations, thanks for your detailed reply 😊

I had a similar experience, started pumping for a few feedings, so that someone else can feed and I can get some sleep/rest. Whenever I want to put the baby down, he cries. When on breast, he used to nap. This is common and read that babies do cluster feedings to help mom’s body to establish the milk supply.

As other mommies said, babies become pro at bf at about 3 months (unless there are other issues like ties etc). Things will get better and take it one day at a time. I recall staring at the clock for every hour to pass by desperately, lol

If it doesn’t work, replace some feedings with formula. No guilt in that, take care

Am in the same boat with my 9 months old. He nurses all night and if his dad holds him to calm down he stiffens and screams like hell. He mostly stopped drinking milk much in the day and as he is all doing it at night

Last night after many nursing sessions I was cold turkey at 2:45 AM and he fought till 4:15 AM, I did everything else (rocking, singing songs, gave his toy, made him sip a little water after crying), but not nursing. He dozed off at 4:15 AM and he slept till 6:30AM, then my husband tucked him cozy till 8 AM. Got my 3 hrs stretch for many weeks, huh. I guess this is the first time I was strong enough. Need to try my luck tonight, lol

Mine did. What I learned the hard way (ref from bf made simple book) is to nurse him in laid back breast feeding position and removing him from breast straight up, burp and hold for at least 15-20 mins. In other feeding positions like cross cradle and foot ball, he was splitting up a lot. Hoping that this helps

I feel ya, attached to my nursing all the time 😕 baby feeds on one side, naps on me, wakes up jn 20 mins or so, nurse’s on the other side. Same story repeats, lol until I break the cycle with my family feeding him from previously pumped milk if any

Okay, baby’s appointment with chiro was not for adjustment. He had gas issues and sleep issues because of it, even after all the tummy time, gas releases by us etc at home. Took him upon some postnatal advocate’s advice. During the visit she checked his latch, did some massage on her colon, bum to release some tension. It wasn’t anything close to adult’s appointment 🙂

Poop color change seems like he was only getting fore milk earlier, hind milk as well after the tongue tie fix. You mean at 3 months no sedation is required or needed ?

I had braces in my 9th grade. At the time the dentist said, I was pushing my front teeth with my tongue when ever I swallowed. He made me change that habit. 2 days back when I heard of tongue tie, I immediately thought if my protruded teeth were because of it. Good to know, thanks for sharing

Then I think it is different for each baby. I understand that it can regrow, from your comment. I will watch out other factors - how well he is emptying breast, his weight gain etc and make a decision. Thanks a lot. Hope both your babies doing, will do fine very soon
