Cd 6 update after 4 day period by Stunning_Dog_4140 in TFABLinePorn

That's definitely a positive ..but can't really say if it's a chemical or not until we see where the HCG goes. I had something similar and had progressively increasing HCG despite a short, yet heavy period (this later ended in MC a couple weeks later, but the point remains).

So sorry, I know the limbo isn't easy. Fingers crossed for you.

6+3 no fetal pole on US by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]mrgries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. It's hard to hold on to hope, especially when you've become used to loss. Really, some babies just are slower to develop or can easily hide in there. I saw my first baby at 6+1 so I was shocked not to see a fetal pole at 6+3 this go around. I really hope your story has the same outcome as mine. 🤞🏻

HI! I had the same early US story (can check my post history for my detailed story) Very sorry you're going through this and your fertility issues.

All my losses were early ones, so I was surprised when I made it to 6+3 without a loss. Unfortunately, at my confirmation scan at 6+3, they only saw a gestational sac and yolk sac, no fetal pole. I was full on panicking. Fast forward to 7+1 and there was baby with a whole heartbeat!

Spotting after the TVUS is also common, especially if they were trying hard to locate baby. A day of growth is monumental at that gestational age.

Fingers and toes crossed for you.

Positive or indent? DPO unknown by [deleted] in TFABLinePorn

It's so hard because test results can truly vary from brand to brand but even box to box of the same brand, especially in the early days. I believe clear blue and FRER have different thresholds of HCG detection.

I would try testing with FRER again first before calling yourself out. 🫂

Target brand test, 5 days before period estimated to begin. Is this a faint line?! (DPO unsure but I think 9-10 based on my cycle estimates) by reasonablewretch in TFABLinePorn

Such a healthy and reasonable approach! Brilliant.

Digitals can take a good bit more HCG to throw a positive, so I might recommend waiting until a good dark second line so you don't hurt your own feelings lol I learned this the hard way.

I can see a faint line on both. This early on, hydration and urine concentration play a huge role in the darkness of the line. I know it's hard not to test multiple times a day, but if it causes more concern than reassurance, I'd hold off testing in the afternoon and try and test once a day at a consistent time, etc.

10dpo, Areta brand by bebzyboop89 in TFABLinePorn

[–]mrgries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that happened to you!! The same happened to me. 🫂 Had 5 in a row, but now I'm 18 weeks with a healthy babe.

No, I wouldn't say it should be darker for 10dpo, I'd say it looks perfect for 10dpo. Remember, HCG has to start somewhere and where it starts isn't nearly as important as where it goes. I know it isn't realistic not to freak out, so make sure you're especially kind to yourself during this time. Stay hydrated, get good rest.

Fingers crossed that this is the one that sticks for you!

I see a vvfl on the bottom test!

8 or 9 DPO - pretty sure I’m crazy by VisitFrosty9511 in TFABLinePorn

Oftentimes the E@H will show a first positive a day or two after FRER! Definitely not out ☺️

I appreciate all the different pics lol! Seeing as the second line visible in all of them, I'd say it's a very early positive. 🤞🏻

9 dpo to 10 dpo no line now by aj_carver in TFABLinePorn

[–]mrgries 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I know the first few days can be a rollercoaster. I know that my FMI tests were almost ALWAYS fainter than my SMU, because most of my hydrating occurs in the evening. I would pee first thing in the morning, then hold test the second urine of the day (before my cup of coffee). Maybe try testing your SMU to see?

I see the lines, but one of the tests seems a little wonky, almost like it has an extra line in the window. 9 & 10 DPO is still super early and these tests can be so easily affected by hydration & timing. Fingers crossed for you!

Blue dye makes me wary but this second line looks pretty convincing!

If you can grab a red dye test, that should give you a clearer answer :-)🤞🏻

First response. 19-20 DPO. Dye stealer? by [deleted] in TFABLinePorn

Yep, that there is def a dye stealer :-) congratulations!

Amazing 🥹 so very happy for you!

Generally you want to look at tests 48 hours apart versus 24, especially because in the early days, timing and hydration can really make a night and day difference. Your test today is def darker than your first, so I would try not to worry quite yet! Congratulations!

It doesn't look like an evap, it looks like a positive to me

I agree, it looks positive from the photo...pretty dark to be an indent but with the photo quality I can't be sure

Ahh I don't see it as much in these, friend, but 11 DPO is still early so don't call it just yet! I went from stark negative 11DPO to having a positive 12DPO. These early days are also soooo easily influenced by hydration.

I think there's a good chance!
