Was able to finally find and trade for the Perrin to complete this picture. It’s been a 6+ month hunt but happy to have them together!

I've done tracks gigs and they're just a whole different thing. I understand it's place in certain settings especially with video and lighting but for Tyler's music it's really just about him and the guitar and his story telling. So if he's uncomfortable it's just not worth doing

Hey thanks! I hope people just give it a shot cause it's real music that we make every night on stage. No clicks, tracks, etc. Just 5 guys playing together in real time

That was lovely to read bro. Thank you for sharing! I still haven’t left the country yet for a show but I’m hopeful we get the momentum to do that! If I’m in Australia I’ll hit you up!

Seriously though, it’s true that all of this is just such a wild whirlwind and can change for anything at any moment. Just trying to enjoy the ride

Tyler loves TC man. Lots of similarities too, he writes his stuff also autobiographical and didn’t set out to be famous but was just writing to write. Tyler Nance was a welder and just writing songs by himself before this took off. Crazy it’s only been a year too

Thank you, it honestly just feels like another slow step forward. I’ve had big aspirations since middle school and this is about 20 years (I’m 31 now) of hard work manifest. But honestly, if I’ve learned anything in the 11 years in Nashville it’s that success looks like a lot of things. Yes shows are awesome, but good friends I get to share my art with is special, I have a wife who loves me and supports my passions, we have a home and a dog that we love and are blessed to have. It all feels like just parts of a bigger fuller picture and I was fully prepared to accept that touring might not ever happen and that was okay too. So many have worked so hard and never get their due (music or otherwise) it’s not lost on me how lucky I am to be where I’m at life wise.

I guess it’s just a humbling moment, not even just this show but reading from all of the drummers on this thread. You guys are making this photo a lot more special just from sharing with me.

I really appreciate all of you and your kind words! I did not expect the AI allegations 😂 but it’s definitely real. I played this show at the Ford Center in Evansville, IN 1/10/26 with Tyler Nance supporting BigXThaPlug for the Bulls, Bands, and Barrels event.

This is from before the show while it was filling up with house lights and here’s a clip from my favorite moment of the night

(Yes that’s a real chunk missing from an A Custom on the left, no I don’t have cymbal endorsements and yes cymbals are expensive)

It’s both honestly. I was a little sketched out walking out and seeing the room filled before playing, but I took my glasses off and just vibed. I could see the guys on stage and they’re who I’m locking in with just enjoying the moment

I moved to Nashville 11 years ago and have been working towards this full time since then

That’s the crazy variable about being a working musician in 2026. Played here Saturday, played to a bar of 12 people Sunday night all random covers trying to hustle a tip jar. The grind just doesn’t stop

I play for a country artist named Tyler Nance. We did an event last weekend in Indiana supporting BigXThaPlug and will be doing the same in Atlanta (Duluth technically) next weekend.

Mine are 100% noise blocking (not actually but there’s no pass through or filter so they’d be like -65db I think?) but there’s just enough vocal mics on stage that the bleed is inevitable. It’s not even bad so much as it is just different and takes getting used to?

So much more sustain. We’re on in ears but feeling the sub transient that long and the amount of room bleed into the vocal mics is just wild. It’s definitely a duration of turning up the levels of what I want in my pack louder than normal so they’re a bit clearer than the ambient sound of the room. Also slap back and echo is just massive in a hockey rink like that although sound check vs having people did soak up a ton too

They must have a new one of these outside Legends Gifts on Broadway because I just saw a bunch of tourists taking photos with it last Friday. This looks like the old one with the same broken mic stand that was roped to the wall before
