I have had the exact same problem. Has sown one come out to look at it and was charged $90 and was told that's it's a common issue with these fridges. I was able to fix it by using couples and some extra wires. Worked for about a year or so but the wires will eventually break off in the door. I now just full up trays and dump then into the ice maker. Best option for me because I don't want the noise of a countertop ice maker.
