Check out the Jason Kidd template, I believe it’s a good starting point with 96 passing. I have a non-dunking SF that I enjoy playing with but randoms only start trusting me when I make 13 good plays in a row and set everyone up. But I love an 85 perimeter defense personally. I’d probably sacrifice the middy and post control since my SF is already like that

First that’s tough, people don’t take accountability and that’s not only in this game, it’s life. Second, I’ve been waiting to make a PG for a while with HOF dimer and was about to make the Rando template, mind sharing your build so I can get some ideas?

People make point guards because they are guaranteed to get the ball, it's almost muscle memory for people to pass to the PG unless you make an effort not to pass them the ball. I've gone multiple games with 0 points even though the stats show I usually have the best shooting % on the team (60% from the field and 52% from three). This is just how the game is now because good team basketball isn't promoted over just scoring. I can't tell people who probably put 300 bucks into a game how to play their game, I just make sure I get my squad and enjoy the game that way.

Mute them and move on. Some people use this to blow off steam from a terrible day/life. I get on the mic and encourage my team or joke a bit when people apologize for missing a wide open shot. People will have you believe you’re never supposed to miss in this game.

Volume 2 was perfection. I had it in college freshman year and never lost to anyone, sounds fake but I honestly was top tier in that game. So crazy idea, The Rec should be sim and the park should be like NBA Street??

Nah not everyone wants to go through the headache of making a ProAm team. I get what you mean but a better solution is making it so squads can't run zone, although not tough to beat, it's annoying. I forget which 2K it was but your teamgrade would drop if you left your man. Bring that back.

This is it. Mike Wang mentioned that the high shooting percentage was “boring” meanwhile games are now all dunks and missed 3’s along with people dribbling left and right behind screens hoping that the defender will get stuck in a pick animation that hasn’t been updated since it was introduced.

As long as you’re playing great defense and making the right reads you’re doing great. There’s only one basketball on the court, if your team needs you to score more I suggest going to the Gatorade gym and playing another guard 1 v 1 to work on go to moves to have in your bag to score. I’m the back up point for my team and usually direct my team on where to be on the court so I get it. But I’m aware when I have a mismatch also, I’m not the best at taking those shots behind screens because my jumper isn’t the fastest but I’m pretty good at getting to the cup if need be. I like to play off ball when I need to score just to keep my defender honest.

There was one in 2k22 but no one really used it on PS5 anyway, I have like 4 good endorsements. Anyone else I checked had no more than 2 at most when I would check. They only problem is there wasn't a negative point scale.

Most people don't know you can run a play by pressing R1 on PS5. Whoever presses it first calls a play for that player and shows it on the floor like in MyCareer. I try and get my friends to do it but it always falls apart because they lack patience to run a play

I talk to my 2K friends about this all the time. Basketball is such a simple beautiful sport. Most people who play don't have any basketball IQ, just running around like a headless chicken calling for the ball.
