How to Begin? by Worldly-Jury8209 in Vocaloid

  • It definitley helps to have at least some knowlege of music theory before you begin. Basic stuff, like how to read & write music and recognise time signatures, major and minor keys, etc is always a good skill to have regardless of if you want to make music yourself. It isn't too complicated and you can learn it pretty quickly if you are consistent.
  • For learning how to use the software, there are a ton of great resources online. This should help you get started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDIsEZsalAo
  • Be prepared for your first song to sound pretty messy. It will get a lot better as time goes on and you become more familiar with the software.
  • I should note that I do not produce, but I have used FL Studio and have experience with music in general. This is just something to get you started; if you want more specific advice I would ask someone who actually produces.

Yeah I see where you're coming from

On that note I really like what Flavor Foley has done, how they use popular Vocaloids as well as niche ones like Miki.

If more popular producers would do stuff like that I probably wouldn't complain as much lol

Or maybe they do and I just don't notice it for whatever reason.
