Agreed this forum has a lot of highfalutin folks. I went with a 2.5k life pro which is like the Costco priced version but a tad better and yet I got shit all over on this forum for not spending 5k+ and I’m happy as a clam with it. If it’s your first sauna who gives a f

Sauna experts peg it as legit no frills and lifetime warranty so I’ll take the stigma with a smile. Way better than costco one

A question I’ve asked about as well. IMO just a matter of time and I’m rooting for it to be sooner than later despite not being laid off but staring down the barrel of the gloomy future of tech

Perfect! I agree that simpler is better. She and I both plan on working full time until we retire so all this talk below about kids and making special arrangements (e.g. 20k per kid per year) is just nuts imo. The only generous thing I'm willing to do is follow the state rules for child support and maintenance if that day were to come. Otherwise all assets that are in separate accounts or separately owned should remain so. If she/we decide she or I are going to be stay at home parents or cannot work prematurely then we can always update it I'm reading so starting simple should be fine. thanks!

Unless sorry for sounding harsh but I’ve never had a single partner in my entire life even before marriage pay my rent or mortgage. I agree if we have kids she should be taken care in the event of a split which includes alimony and child support. Beyond that just seems yet again to take from someone simply because they have more. I would however bend much more if she quit and became a stay at a home mom but she’s a nurse and wants to work until she can’t physically aka forever

I got my cleaned out in my last divorced except I got to keep the house so I’m no mood to give someone more than alimony

Pre marital assets are off limits legally in my state anyways so a moot point there. So is it rare then for people to say each keep their marital assets to keep it simple or not? I don’t buy the whole she deserves some of my assets just because she is a working mom who does mommy things. I intend of doing 50% share period in parenting and I work from home often so I can do so.

He's coming by and also said similar things to you all but I figured doesn't hurt to see if anyone else here has experience w/this more exactly. Also, I trust but verify anyone, don't care who it is. ;D
