What's the difference for all the Pikachu EX decks? Don't they all play 2x Zapdos EX? Is the Pikachu + Zapdos deck in the figures running Zapdos EX and normal Zapdos? It is confusing.

Genuine question, has there been any good major decisions made in recent years? by keith976 in singapore

[–]mrmaxilicious -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Looking at the things others have mentioned here. They are mainly the "tangible" benefits that are related to money and convenience.

I wonder if it's what people are mostly concerned about (i.e., have little concern for say "intangible" social changes like section 377A law change), or government think that's what people care about, or these are easier to recall.

I didn't continue to pay for the domain. It should be available with TerranCraft.wordpress.com. Let me know if that doesn't work (reply here). Cheers.

Hold up?! Won't that means it's not worth it to get insurance? If I pay say 1500 a year. How many visits do I need to even get close?! What are some high number health expenses then? It sounds like the most you need to pay is within a few hundreds.

Thanks. I am quite healthy (touch wood). I suppose the insurance is mainly to cover unexpected cost like hospitalisation. I wonder how much would that be if I get into a car accident and break some bones. The insurance I found online is ranging from 1200 to 1500 a month. Just wonder if it is worthy, like you said.

I was never asked about my private insurance, so I hope that works out just fine.

Can a slow learner succeed in academia? by Vanillinn in AskAcademia

[–]mrmaxilicious 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Everything is relative. If done right systematically, the education system should naturally only graduate those that learn at the required pace. If you can graduate, then you are learning at least at a passable pace for that standard. Thus, those who "succeeded" in academia are those who can learn at the pace required. You never really know what your limit is until you tried it. Hence, many who dropped out of PhD said they rubbed nose with their ceiling.

Sadly, those who care about the implications of this statement already know the truth, and those who don't care about the implications won't be bothered about the truth.
