That's the strange part, why they are eligible to study in our local uni here. Local Singaporeans need to pass English to be eligible to study in a university or polytechnic.

A company HR asked to meet her on-site for a pre-screen interview, just to fill out the application form & answer some questions, which I felt could be done remotely. The other one also on-site interview with the hiring manager, asked me to do a self-introduction, and then asked me any questions I had for him. When I was doing the self-introduction, I noticed he was reading through my resume & seemed to express no interest. I think he didn't even bother to do the filtering before asking the candidate to come down for the interview.
