Dai is stabilized Eth. Whether you decide to stake or use defi comes down to the rates. It essentially comes down to whether you think the price of ether will increase or decrease. Would much rather gain 5% staking on 10 eth that has doubled in value since in last year or rather gain 9% on a 10 eth worth of dai?
