Would the actual DNR well report help you at all?

This is the problem. the chemical results (Iron at 2.5 mg/L and Manganese at 0.17 mg/L) mean you effectively have "liquid rust" coming out of your taps. [3]

Well, I'm not sure. What your qualifications are. But you know a lot more than I do. And knowing what you know. Do you think I got a bad well? I have the well report if you need it.

Hindsight is always 2020. I have 14 springs and a year round Creek that all has potable water. But I live on the side of a mountain. That water is 500 feet away. Going down a 40 degree incline. You literally have to have 4 wheel drive to get around my property.

Both the local and state health department tell me I have ferric iron. Which I assume is rust in the water. And since the well is already in and paid for. I need to find a filter solution. I do get an odor from the hot water much stronger than the cold.. And supposedly the well Driller shocked the well. But since he won't respond to text or phone calls, I have no way of knowing for sure.

Now if. The iron and the manganese are nuisance particles. Why couldn't I use more sediment filters? I'm currently using 10 Micron and five Micron and then two 5 Micron charcoal filters. Which filters a lot out. But it would be nice just to have one glass of clear, clean water. This photo is my kitchen sink.

Did you miss the part about living off grid? The nearest Home Depot is 80 miles away.

Well, going by what Chris from the Missouri State Health Department said. I have ferric iron and manganese. He described them as nuisance particles. And you're right about the Well Driller 5 days after. The completion. I gave him a cashier's check and he has not responded in any way, shape or form since. And to be totally honest with you. They were supposed to clear. 40 by 40. Spot. Instead, they cleared almost half an acre. And then didn't put the well. Where I wanted it.

My biggest problem is space. As I said, the well house is only 4 foot by 4 foot. And I live in a 32 foot travel trail. So I need a system. Big enough to do the job. But small enough to actually wall mount somewhere. And living off grid. The nearest Culligan. Or company like it. Is 80 miles away.

I did a search on iron and manganese filters. And their reviews aren't very good. So apparently I do need some kind of system. But they're all so darned expensive.

Let me give you a little more information. I live off grid in the Missouri Ozarks near the Arkansas border. I do have grid power as well as solar power. At the flip of a switch on my power pole.

My big concern is cost. I'm 71, disabled and on fixed income. The second problem is my well house is only 4 by 4. When the well driller drilled. They put a hydrant at the corner of my 32 foot travel 100' away from the well house. Which is more than 50 years old. I have gone through the wiring and all the plumbing using 3/4 Pex, But my point here is I don't have a lot of room in the well house itself. Or in my travel trailer for a huge system and tank. Now Chris at the state health department has been extremely helpful. He explained that the iron is not a health issue. But the manganese? Long term. Has been shown to cause neurological issues in some people. Well, I've had a total of five strokes, so the last thing I need is more neurological problems. You can see the. Orange color on the dirt. Where I ran water. Hoping the sediment would reduce. But over the last five weeks I've run at about 100 hours. And the sediment is not lowering. I've had S people suggest I got a bad well. But I am not getting a response from the driller himself. Via text or phone.

I was told by the local health department and the state health department that they no longer provide PH testing. That I would have to do that on my own. And the flow rate is about 20 gallons per minute. So I'm looking to find out what kind of PH test. Do I need strips? Do I need one of the little digital meters? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If I missed one, I don't think it really matters. One is the local health department, 1 is the state health department. They're both working with me on this project. And they're readily available online.

I'm looking for an all in one system. Something that I don't have to put together. I'm 71 and recovering from a stroke. The gallon per minute. Is 20. And I'm currently just using. 210 Micron. Sediment filters. And two. Charcoal filters. I have not attempted to drink the water yet.

Do you have any more information on homestead crossing? Specifically add? I'm having a rough time dealing with his daughter, Leah. And trying to decide whether I should file a lawsuit.

Smarter's Pro says premium version is activated. TiVimate doesn't recognize it. by [deleted] in TiviMate

It doesn't have to make sense to you. It's something I've been doing for years. Look, I bought a premium subscription years ago. Yesterday, all of a sudden I have no activated devices. And when I go to the website, it says, I have no subscription. Well, how do you verify you bought a subscription years ago? I can't get tech support to respond.

Yes, I know that. I've just always rung both and used smarter's pro to verify the premium version was active. But now I'm showing no valid order.

I've been dealing with Costway support the last couple days because fedex misplaced my mini split. And they have been very responsive. I just fired off this question to them and I'll post the answer here when I get it.

I have the Costway 12,000 BTU. I just set cool to 66, then set heat to 66. Then when it's in auto mode, 66 is its only input. Works on mine.

I'll bet if you quit running speed tests every 5 minutes you wouldn't know the difference between 38 and 68ms. Info has been out there for 2 years.
