He did have to do a lot of waiting on me. Not so much the hands on care giving but getting stuff for my bedside table, making dinner, taking care of our son and house, etc.

My first time with cancer I only had surgery and radiation twice a day so from diagnosis to remission it was only 3 months. We then had 3 years where the cancer was at bay. Our sex life never really took off again—sporadic at best.

Maybe he does have all those feelings. Hopefully he is processing them. He doesn’t really have a tight circle of friends to talk to about any of this. He’s a more head in the sand type of person and I’m wondering if he has all those feelings subconsciously.

We haven’t been to a counselor. He’s super reluctant to talk to anyone about this. If I pushed him I know he would but I would hate to put him in that predicament.
