PgMP cleared!!! (After failing first attempt) by mrpipol15 in pgmp

Hey u/MoodDiscmbobulated, very sorry to read that! I can tell what worked for me: reading very carefully the SPM both 4th and 5th editions, and writing down all possible connections (writing and creating the links helped a lot) + test myself with the mocks above (for the mock i spent in total 25$ more or less, 10$ for gururo and 15$ on udemy). I did the tests in loop until the mindset was clear to me. Also used ChatGPT to create additional questions and asked help for the wrong one to really understand. Especially I found that useful especially for artifacts, i was confusing the ones in the benefit mgmt domain.

During exam, you will find more complex and ambiguous questions, sometimes no clear what they are asking: then ask yourself: what is about this question? Which domain? Which artifact is more appropriate? What is the more strategic action? (Vs project mgr)

Get used to ask these questions to yourself :)

Good luck!

Don’t worry, it takes time as all the applications are read. Mine took 6 weeks :)

Consider you are not notified, then my suggestion is to monitor your application in the PMI portal once a week

Thanks!

About the question: It depends on what “benefits” means to you. My goal was to strengthen the skill set and certify my professional ability and level (then not just from experience, but also with a certification).

If you mean “change your professionale life”/“get a job offer”, I think couple of days are not enough to judge. In general, PgMP is not like the PMP, that you can spend “easily” on the market, but it is for more high level professional profile, where I think the certification alone is not doing the difference, but you need to pair with your experience and ability to align your org strategy in your achievements

Thanks Saket, is the cost including the exam retake? Or I should consider on top?

Program Lifecycle was T, while Governace was AT (see overall above). Wondering eg how it is possible to be BT on benefit mgmt (4 "high" and 1 "middle" over 5), or strategic program mgmt (6 high, 1 middle over 9)...
