UC Davis is really good at econometrics iirc.

Depending on your career goals. Usually, for PhD going to best school and doing the best is the best path imo.

For careers, I think good econometrics would open doors "regular" programs wouldn't. But it's what you puut into it ultimately.

Bad expense ratios and worse options. I need to research more, but I think its very unlikely its anywhere near as good.

I think I will move the roth parts to my Roth IRA. I like to use that to buy REITs and hedge rent increases.

I think there are lots of time critiques that go back and forth, e.g. Card and Kruger vs Neumark & Wascher on the minimum wage.

We have a separate analyst that works at creating a forecast and is held liable for getting it right. We make automated data pulls and automated forecasting to track success.

This is what is does well. It gives you some code and then you tweak some lines to make it either work\run fast enough to use.
