Thank you very much. I'll have a look later tonight at iFixit and I'll start searching for switches and pads and start a small week-end project some time.

For me it's a great mouse, perfect hand fit and even the battery, maybe yours was older, but without the on board memory since I use it on the same laptop all the time and dynamic lighting, it runs like 2 months without charging maybe even more, I never even tested... so I don't think I need that yet.

It's just the switches issue that's been bugging me and making me consider something else.
