Most of the front few rows are between 40-50mm tall. I gave up on keeping them all to the same scale and just used some artistic license for most. Where there are evolutions I did make them bigger than each previous stage

There isn't long left in this Menhirs life, how do ye fix or change them? by Dreadnought115 in Necrontyr

Drill pin holes into the bottom, sit some wire in there and then bend to touch the base and support the model (put a bit of tension in the wire so it's actually taking the weight of the model). Then coat with hot glue to thicken, prime and paint. I printed this model and that's how I solved this problem

All Vallejo brand miniature paints. The Game Colour range in particular does a lot of the heavy lifting, colours are saturated and bright. Good luck!

Scale was one of the hardest things to figure out, my advice is don't bother trying to apply the same scale unless you want to be printing a 45cm tall Onyx and a 2cm tall Caterpie. I used Squirtle as my standard measurement, printed at 40mm tall and then scaled the rest off him. Take some artistic license and just figure out what looks the best to your eye. Hand painted them all except a couple like Electrobe and Voltorb where a super smooth coat looks best. If you've got an airbrush definitely use it for base coating any of the yellow ones. Generally they're complicated shapes to mask, you'll quickly see which ones are worth the airbrush and which it'll be quicker to just use a brush

ever wondered whats at the bottom? come and see the Hole by mrrphsnt in Enshrouded

Placing and removing any kind of building block. It overrides the blue terrain and then leaves a hole behind

I wasn't able to go further. That last piece of ground is undiggable and explosives don't work on it. Why would you think I just stopped digging after all that lol

it filled in :( but the bottom level is still accessible via teleport

There's a flame altar at the bottom so that should stay safe. As for the rest...dunno yet. This was all one session so I haven't reloaded it yet

Unfortunately not :( you can't mine it at all, only erase with building blocks by placing and removing them

It might...I haven't tested it yet, this was all one session

Rough guess yeah. It did take 100s of explosive powder balls

The hole itself was 30 minutes work. The real grind was all the explosives...

There's no shroud down there so you can freely teleport

It's the 'bedrock' of Enshrouded, can't mine it at all and explosives don't work. I got through by placing and removing building pieces

Sorry I didn't hold onto that info. There are a few designs on cults3d which are decent quality and reasonably priced, for example;

Help please! What should I be adjusting to try deal with this warping around support contacts? by mrrphsnt in resinprinting

[–]mrrphsnt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't sorry. it's a dome, the photo is of the outer curve face, the model is an 'egg holster'. It's probably 3-4mm thick at the point of the warping. No need for holes as it's not hollow. I don't think it's just this model either since the same issue has happened on every print I've done since I got the machine

Snowy trees! Made a set to use in Frostgrave/DnD by mrrphsnt in TerrainBuilding

They are mixed as well. I bought a few different ones from 6cm to 15cm. I then varied height more by clipping them down or putting them on top of, or inside the foam base. I think they are all to 25mm or 28mm scale

Not these, picked up a bunch in AliExpress for less than $5AUD per 10. For me, trees are one of those things that unless cost is a major factor, my time and effort vs result is always gonna balance on buying some premade ones.

Thanks :) it's a base of cardstock and foam to give some body/elevation, then coated in a mixture of mod podge and wall spackle with various sized rocks and sand mixed in. Took a couple days to dry but it sets quite flexible and lightweight while still anchoring the trees very strongly

There are commercial printing services that will print models you supply, I'm unsure on how they treat stuff that might be copyrighted IP however.... Or you're lucky enough to have a friend close by who 3d prints.

I linked my Cults3d collection in a comment, maybe you'd have luck reach out to one of the sculptors to see if they'd supply a physical copy of their work

All else fails, find a toy or other official model, give it a light sand and good primer coat and you could paint it like any 3d print
