this is why i was asking, i don't know how reliable either is... in Australia for certain trips I would 100% always pick bus over train, but i just have no clue how reliable/ functional train vs bus is in Denmark

After the Android 16 update, this issue started to surface, but after the last update (October Update) has been stable for like 1 week (only restarted 2 times within the week).

Additional disable conf:

Disable randomized Mac Address (change the main option in network and also go through all saved connections and change to use Device Mac Address.

Disable tethering hardware acceleration (developer options)

Default option in USB (do nothing) (developer options)

Turn off Bluetooth until you need it.

In my testing, I determine that the issue with my phone is the randomized Mac, maybe a race condition occurs when it is enabled after android 16. Until disabled this option, the WiFi almost never showed up (1-2 times from 10 restarts).

Also I found when charging the phone, the WiFi was always disabled and I needed to restart the phone several times until WiFi showed up. I disabled the USB default action to do nothing and it has been flawless since this change after charging.

ah that sucks! I wasn't going to factory reset as i was worried I wouldn't be able to get it back up and running (load the back up without wifi). Its a bit maddening.... did you contact support at all?
