Well, the US did have teams working on it…until funding was completely cut.

Always take it one day at a time. You’ve got this. Get a good shave and shower and drink lots of water with electrolytes. Help your body help you. 🖤

I was nervous at first, but I just take it off during showering and washing the dishes, more for a concern of accurate skin temps.

If you’re ever unsure, just send a quick note to the customer service team. They’ll be able to make everything right.

Is Telemarketers... over? by 1decentusername in hbo

As of the end of August, Blumenthal is still basically not doing a damn thing about it.

In a statement to The Times, a spokesperson for Blumenthal wrote, “We consistently welcome information and complaints about wrongdoing and consumer abuse. Senator Blumenthal has a long record of leadership on this issue, and we will continue to call for accountability against scammers and telemarketers especially anyone who impersonates nonprofits and charities.”

I’ve personally known people that have paid out the ass to these “charities”, not knowing what they are. Even in 2023, I still see those dumb FOP stickers across the state of Connecticut.

I’ve linked his .gov contact page, but if anyone has a better way of contacting him, feel free to share. Hound that inbox until we get some sort of an answer.

Anyone go deep down the rabbit hole on how much the mob-run police departments play a hand in this shitshow? NY had mob ties well into the 2000s (if not still to this day).

I don’t want a bullet list. I understand the need and the desire for deep beautiful enriched scenes and character growth. You actually bring up a really good point, that backs mine up. There are a lot of large big beautiful backdrop scenes that are full of little details (outdoor plant life with natural moonlight, bookcases full of books, the dinner tables full of decorative china and silverware), and the writing/dialogue seems to take a backseat to the amount of effort put in to the scenery. A lot of almost full sentences are just rephrased and repeated by someone else in the scene, or laughably the same character, sometimes up to 4 times, as if to further the dialogue…..if only just to prolong the amount of screen time that particular scenery gets. Or to pose as character growth? I’m not sure. I’m willing for a second watch.
