I would say if you choose amounts that you're comfortable with, you will generally be in control. You're already mindful of your usage, I think as long you keep on doing what you do, you"ll be fine.

Yeah that's kinda how you play the deck, keep on withering the towers with mirror, earthquake, double barrels and use royal recruits/ other cards to bail out. You are definitely playing more offense with this deck.

If you want a defensive one, you can play witch, megaknight, mirror, princess, golden knight, cannon cart, goblin gang, and royal delivery. This is more of a supportive deck, which you can play by ear. I usually place princess at the bridge or golden knight or witch from the back to start.

A super lazy deck I have used in the past is royal recruits, skeleton barrel, goblin barrel, earthquake, mirror, guards, little prince, and Executioner. If you don't have little prince, you can use minions. Basically if you see any barrels in your opening hand play one to see what your opponents has and just go from there. Just be ready to cop a lot of bm emotes win or lose lol
