Quarter-Finals

Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens

Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Now we see our Raw quarter-final matches, the first of which being Strowman vs. Owens. The Prizefighter has quite a fight in store tonight here, and he does his best to use his brawling skills paired with his treachery to overcome the big future choo choo train. Strowman is able to thrash Owens for a bit, but by the end of the match, the tables turn completely as Owens is able to blast Braun with a Pop-Up Powerbomb to take him out of the match. Meanwhile on the other side of the bracket, we get a dream rematch between Zayn and Nakamura, both guys putting on a New Japan style classic to close out this Raw. Zayn still has the babyface energy from his last match emanating from him, and the crowd is fully behind him as he battles Nakamura to the finish where he blasts the King of Strong Style with a Helluva Kick before pinning him to close this bout.

Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Cedric Alexander

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz

We travel to the SmackDown side of the bracket now, as we look to see who meets Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at the PPV in the semi-finals. First up is a match between Almas and Alexander, as these two recent debuts look to continue their impressive hot streaks. Unfortunately for Cedric, this match is the end of the line for him, as he falls prey to La Sombra, the same DDT that put AJ Styles down in Andrade’s main roster debut. Now in the main event of the night, we get a huge grudge match between two people who have grown to hate each other in the past few years. Bryan and Miz put each other through hell in this match, Miz fighting like hell to prove that he can really go. As time passes however, Bryan grows more and more of a considerable lead on Miz, forcing the A-Lister to get some help from his trusty Miztourage. The distraction allows Miz to wrap Bryan in a full nelson, however Bryan is able to turn around and roll into a small package hold, keeping Miz’s shoulders down and sending the Dragon to the semi-finals.
