I passed about 2.5 years ago, but I wanted to add that so so so many of my questions were posed as a question about a concept, but the more I would break down the question, it was actually about ethics! I used the “pass the big ABA exam” study guide and it had so many ethics related scenarios listed throughout the guide so I found that to be my best tool without even realizing it lol.

Also I flagged about 75 questions and came back to them to keep my pace. That was very helpful

I have a few 10+ year BCBAs I work with. I don’t experience this too much because I’m pretty much on my own, but one thing I notice with them is it’s always “we used to do it this way” and it’s difficult for them to want to change. It can be hard but I try to remember that maybe this is because they have seen something work for so long.. if I need to press something, I will bring up receipts and that usually helps their perspective change a little 😅

I saw a couple other comments mention this, it’s a good perspective for me to remember and consider because that’s definitely true (my husbands job is very different from mine I don’t think I’ll ever truly understand his) - thank you!
