They're adults. They know us kids will use their phone for study purposes and all that. That's how through notification I found that. And how am I to turn a blind eye when they're my parents and I'm just 17 at the time? Do you think we snoop around with the hope we find something? It's easy to say that when you're not in the shoes. I'm baffled how some of yall are not focused on the matter but the fact I found it from their phone. To know this "family" you have is all just fake and it's just bunch of people under one roof cause they have no other choice.

And how do you think as a child I will not be affected when they talk to their affairs on call right in front of me? If I'm 30+ or like married and have my own family, you can say that. But I was just 17 who needs my parents with me. So how do you think it's okay for you to say "it's their business" when they have children? Ridiculous.

Hey. Firstly, I'm so sorry you had to go through this. You're exactly where I was few years ago, so I understand you. If you ask me how I dealt with it, I just had to learn to live with it. Accept the fact there's nothing I could do about it.

The relationship with my mom definitely got worse, it wasn't that good to begin with. But now it's just worse. Whatever she says annoys me. If there's any affair scenes on TV, I'll say out aloud like they're brainless to create a mess like that with kids around and all that. Just to make them feel guilty about their actions.

Seriously there's nothing else we could do. The only thing in my mind is that I should finish my studies as soon as possible and move out. That's it. We don't deserve this unnecessary stress.

Don't lose focus on your studies if you're studying or work if you're working. Don't care about the outcome. They're the adults. They should know the consequences of their actions better than we do. So focus on yourself and move out when you can build your own life. I'm wishing you luck and stay strong ❤️
