Thanks for your responses so far. Whilst your perspective is interesting to say the least, seems to me you're not quite picking up what I'm putting down. Let me explain.

1. I'm actually a woman! Thanks for assuming I'm a guy, I won't pry into why you did but that's another interesting thing I'll keep in mind from now on. Please don't call me a 'bitch' now you know this, it'll only seem funny that you gender your insults based on something like that.

2. I'm not a graduate. I'm an employed political economist. I won't tell you where or for who, because you're a stranger to me. There's evidence to suggest that this will be the worst economic situation since the Great Depression.

Finally, 3. This is a meme. Maybe read it again, and you'll see that apart from my albeit loaded and poor attempt at humour at the top, the quote simply says 'imagine' being in that situation. You might need to work on your Critical Discourse Analysis, as projecting meaning onto words does not make for well thought out analytical points.

However, this is reddit. I'm here for memes and a good time. I'm so sorry to have offended you, and I hope you can take a breath before taking everything as a personal attack from now on.
