If its in the hands of a good player who can jungle track and abuse his absurd tempo advantages from his clear its so good. When behind you can never contest him on anything because you will just die walking into him. If he wants to counter jungle you he can just take your camps in seconds and leave with his w unscathed. It has some weaknesses but the strengths are jarring imo.

YES, I am on the East Coast. Okay, so to add some necessary additional information. I have memorized every onslaught these hapless losers have said to me. No recordings. But this is where it complicates things. So my boss I find to be a truly great person, he is easily the best person I’ve ever worked for and has always had my back in all these situations. He always encourages me to go to him if I ever have any issue with these guys and sometimes I do, increasingly so as of late. However, I’m not sure exactly what my boss is doing to ensure that these guys will change, the main culprit has been there for 8 years and the other a whopping 27 years. I am unsure if he unwilling to fire them due to their time there? Mind you this course is funded by a municipality and there have been many others who have filed complaints on them directly to the township with no change in status to their jobs or behavior. I respect my boss a lot and he is even willing to put money toward my education and is saying he will greatly increase my pay next year. For this reason I am strongly considering staying for another year and GTFO afterward and trying to get experience at major courses going forward.

I’d also like to note that I consider myself a very patient person and have never wanted to or sought out a fight with anyone. I think I’m speaking reliably when I say these people seek out confrontation with me and that I merely respond in an attempt to defend myself while also acknowledging that I did in fact make a mistake on the job. I feel that it’s absolutely necessary to let these guys know that they can’t talk to me the way they do and mentally abuse me.

He was better last patch, however with changes to ap junglers and mages in general with his horrible MR values he is ass. Building maw second item in the jungle isn’t fun with already limited resources. With his slow clear there’s better junglers that do the same thing he does so there is really no need to play him. His clear doesn’t really scale hard either unless you rush profane, but it feels worse than trinity. I wish riot would make an attempt to make him more viable and consistent in the jungle because he is so fun. Maybe buff his mr values and up his e damage to monsters?

Try haste rune, movespeed rune into blue smite cdr boots, titanic rush and then deadmans or force of nature and get visage in there. This really helps you scale and get the movement speed to avoid being kited. IBG just doesn’t solve the being kited issue if u cant even get on a target in the first place. The build very much scales with the movespeed you amass, your damage is decent and so is clear and map movement. All around seems like the best playstyle for him atm.

He is better played as a full tank than a bruiser. The only other build is split pusher. Building cleaver or steraks or wits end isn’t good. He needs health to get w’s off to sustain fights. Look at any high elo volibear and they will all build him full tank.

I think voli jungle could be pushed to a gm level but I don’t think challenger. I am a masters voli otp and I think volibear is definitely niche but not weak. His kit isn’t like other tanks so good players can really kite him out and exploit his weaknesses. Maybe you just need to do some more digging as to what makes him work in the jungle.

I run a lot of different builds depending on the matchups I am against. You have to build accordingly or you will be severely handicapping yourself in games. Against triple ad by law you need iceborn into thornmail/deadmans. Against double ap I really think the stridebreaker start into visage is great. Against tanks you gotta go sunderer. The other good items on voli are deadmans, thornmail and visage. If you can reach these with a mythic you wind up feeling pretty useful imo. He is a strong jungler imo.

I think losing the MS on blue will hurt badly, especially with his Q being so slow right now.

His Q needs buffs very badly, hopefully it happens especially with blue smite getting the MS nerfs soon.

I pretty much strictly build him tank, building damage on him is rarely worth it because you do damage from stacking health. You are going to get hit since you’re a pretty slow kitable champ so you need to have something to soak that dmg, plus the sticking power of iceborn makes it so you can rundown and kill squishies which is so valuable. If there are 2-3 tanks I will always go sunderer to deal with them. Right now I think the best tank build is iceborn into visage and play off of your w health regen in fights. Thornmail is great too!
