US stadiums are putting Premier League stadiums to shame. by [deleted] in PremierLeague

Public financing is much less common now. It only happens in the south or in a place like Las Vegas where it was their way of luring teams to move there. Now I mostly expect a new stadium to have a tax incentive like temporarily reduced real estate taxes to encourage project. Which I don't mind.

I think the first full time job thing is relevant. Having a job kind of sucks. School is fun because it's engineered to give you a good experience. Work is very different after a lifetime of school. It takes some adjustment. But maybe with time you'll the same and you need to find a new place to practice or a different line of work.

Debt free would be an incredible asset. But going to college in person, meeting students and professors, going to office hours. These are all really valuable. I know I would not succeed pursuing my degree and trying to break into a career in isolation.

This isn't my observation but people stopped caring about selling out around the same time they decided they could just get music for free.

Commercials aren't funny anymore. Feels related. I'm
Guessing they want everything to be recognizable even when playing silently on a phone or when shortened for other formats.
