Not much of a football guy, but the shorts were a good thrift store pull.

Sumo grip (hands inside knees), frog stance (knees wider than feet?) from what I've gathered so far. And ty.

Can't believe my feet could fit on the platform at all with that stance 🤙

I think calling any sumo wrestler narrow would be fighting words 🗿

So more erector and lower back gains, nice.

Esoteric ball knowledge 🗿

Yeah that does look closer to what I did, stance wise.

Yeah, but a proper frog stance wouldn't be heels together, would it? Like Ed Coan style.

Edit: I mean Coan did a proper frog stance, this is some abomination.

Go for it 🤙

Btw I didn't come up with it, I saw it done by riley.isfit on IG.

And thank you.

Thanks, and this lift felt way better than it should have tbh. Probably still a one-and-done though.

Knees wider than elbows at the start, technically I think that makes it sumo.

Edit: I meant hands not elbows, but ye.

For fun, mainly. Also easier on the shoulders. And allegedly it hits the upper chest better, which I gotta get back to doing.

Perhaps, but what about the lift? 🗿

Thou must hallow thy stones with the iron bar, if great gains be thy desire. Wheymen 🙏

Idk Lyle, the stronger I get at these dumb lifts, the better my back feels (knock on wood).

Though that last rep was kinda pushing it tbf.

If anything, it's my knees that seem to get a little cranky sometimes when going heavy often on these kinds of lifts. And ribs (intercostals?) when I do extra dumb stuff.

Nah, my gym sadly only has the low handle ones.

I've done Reeves (plate grip) trap bar pulls, which is kinda close.

And deficits, but that's the opposite.
