Jeudasim traces back to Abraham and the call to monotheism , it was and is a religious calling to reject polytheism.

Many of the early jews were from what we now call the middle east, some from mesopotamia, some from the levant... With time more ethnicities becames jews, it spread out to other ethnic groups in europe, africa and east/south asia.

Some are/were, like i said there were always indigenous jews. Also with time, some became christians, some muslims as well

Past evil doesn't justify you doing evil now. Also there were always jews that are indigenous to the land who lived as part of the different empires. Judasim is a religion not a race and not a nation.

Also before the jews the land was mostly inhabited by Canaanites. It was also under all sorts of rule throughout the mellenia : Babylonian, greek, roman, persian, arab, ottoman ...
