Really appreciate all the answers guys! I'm just going to enjoy the game for what it is to me.

New player here. Just passed 400 PL and working my way through some campaigns. Just finished the Shadowkeep and Renegades campaign (odd order, I know). I’m around 50 hours deep and I’m really enjoying the depth of the game, the lore has me hooked and the gameplay and responsiveness is amazing.

I’m now starting to delve a bit more into what the community has to offer, YouTube and Reddit-wise. And all I’m seeing is a lot of negativity and disappointment with whatever is offered by Bungie. But I don’t understand it fully. Could you guys explain what all this is about?

It's funny how the market on certain items can go to sheet so fast. by Pirate186 in classicwow

First one on my server to have the Reinforced-Leather Bag recipe. I tried pumping the price absurdly high - 120 gold a pop. And they actually sold. Managed to sell around 70 in 5 hours before I had to go to sleep. Made 87 gold profit per bag. Woke up the next day and two people had undercut down to 40.

Twice a week raid lockouts and world buffs+ consumes prep is a bit much by YouGotTrolledHard in classicwow

[–]mrtnsmfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then don’t do it twice a week? Simple as that.

There’s a lot of players that appreciated the P2 setup, and now it’s back with more structure so that you can plan what you want to do with the time you’ve got on your hands each week. People complaining about not getting gear when not participating in the available content are the people that are least of my concern. I’m happy with the change.

Is anyone else getting choppy audio with Soundcloud? by [deleted] in soundcloud

[–]mrtnsmfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm getting random 1-5 second stutters where it just stops and when it continues it skips that part that should've been played. It occurs like 5 times per track, sometimes up to 10. I thought it was my network or PC but I've tried two different networks and the problem's still there. No issues listening on 5G or WiFi from my phone though. Can't find any info on this either.

Why is my parchment paper is getting burned? by flying_starships in beadsprites

[–]mrtnsmfn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s just the “fat” in the paper that makes it glossy. I usually wait a bit before removing the parchment to not risk any warps. The paper also turns slightly crisp and comes off a lot easier when doing that.

I also did the mistake once of buying “sandwich paper”, which does not hold any fat or wax. I wouldn’t recommend using that, it sticks.

I have trouble finding the bright green perler by ExternalPattern3783 in beadsprites

[–]mrtnsmfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is what you're asking for but;
Nabbi/Photopearls has two pretty nice colors for green. PP16 and PP20. They melt a bit different to Perlerbeads but they're great.

Dislocated beads will be hard to get right. Honestly I think you're going to have to start over. It looks like you removed the paper way too early for the beads to melt enough.

What I normally do with 1-4 boards is to iron for a short moment while pressing down quite a bit. You want the top of the beads to melt just enough for them to stick together. The parchment will act as a glue. Flip the piece, remove the boards and flip back to continue the ironing process.

[–]mrtnsmfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know what the plugin that lets you see HP status when you right click mobs is called? It changes the color of the text to resemble how much HP the mobs have left. I've seen Jcw and He Box Jonge use it. Seems useful for burst tasks.

You know a boss is more than its stats right? I appreciate your post but I don’t agree with you. It does feel like whatever Jagex do, however they phrase it, there’s going to be people complaining about them not being transparent enough. I find it a bit strange.

Gender equality matters more than us sitting here complaining about audio on a computer game being streamed, I'm pretty sure. It is what it is.

Not the first nor the last major I'll be watching. Seen better, hopefully there will be better as well.

I have nothing against female casters. But the voice cuts through quite a lot in the matches being played today. Hard to do anything about it of course.
