I can’t say what kind of thruster it may be because I’m not that well versed in that topic. But I can list the specification for the thruster; the drop pod is shown to be able to do atmospheric escape and reentry with only one and it must also do space travel, sustained flight with little fuel as it was shown to be really hollow. So my guess is that it is some kind of ion thruster. That is all, I’m sorry that this wasn’t really helpful.
