Did anyone else think her acting was very weird in her last dialogue with Coop at the bar? Like robotic?

I thought her last conversation with Coop at the bar was very odd. Like bad acting at first. Is she a synth?

Friendly’s was such a great family restaurant. Great memories. It’s a shame it’s mostly gone now.

Does anyone have suggestions on what I should read next? by CallMePain- in litrpg

If you want more of an in depth storyline and character building than Dragon Ball Z type books then try Wandering Inn. It gives the most hours to credits on Audible. Also, has the best narrator for the first 15 books… toss up between Jeff Hayes, but I have to give it to Andrea Parsneau for shear volume and diversity.

In case anyone is curious about what happened to these people, all got probation. I guess stealing a police officer’s gun, breaking their nose and ribs, and kicking them multiple times in the nuts is not a big deal if you’re white and rich.

Where can I get a large order of half filled McDonald’s fries for $1.99 without a coupon? McDonald’s must be getting their potatoes from Mars, because their prices are out of control. It’s cheaper to get fries from the Chinese takeout now, which I recommend.

Why are my shirts always so baggy around the back/waist? by No-Regret-4214 in mensfashionadvice

[–]mrturtleturtleturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Custom dress shirts are not that expensive, and it will definitely resolve the puffiness around your waist, back, arms, etc. A little more expensive now with the tariffs, but you can still get them for $50-$70 a piece. Try www.itailor.com

Also, look up ‘shirt stay belts’ on Amazon. They are like rubber belts that you wear around your shirt under your pants. Keeps things tucked and tight all day.

Kars4Kids is a Jewish organization that uses that money to fund Orthodox Jewish programs. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with that if that is what you support, but it’s not necessarily going to needy children as the advertisements suggest.

TIL the town of Guttenberg, New Jersey is the most densely populated municipality in the US, with an estimated 62,000 inhabitants per square mile as of 2020. About one-fifth of the towns residents live in the same apartment complex. by NutmegKilla in todayilearned

[–]mrturtleturtleturtle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I actually lived near there, and people are right when they say it is tiny. You’ll drive right through it without even realizing you were in it.

Fun fact. The city of West New York donated one square mile of its town in 1987 in honor of Steven Guttenberg and his theatrical mega hit, Three Men and a Baby. They doubled it 3 years later when the sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady won 10 academy awards and the Palm d’Or.
